Hi Lovely People!
Penny and I met on Monday to discuss the state of the world (and military imposters). We got on a roll and made a few decisions relating to the project. If you have any problems please don’t hesitate to put forward alternative suggestions.
Overall exhibition: We are ditching the biographical element of the story and focusing on the barber shop itself. We are going to talk about a barber shop around the time and it’s roll in a town.
The display will consist of an intro panel (inc photo of shop) outlining the purposes of a barber shop and the following items.
Clippers and info panel
Scissors and info panel
Manicure set, shoe brush and info panel
Straight razor, brush, cup and info panel
Tobacco tin, cigarette case and info panel
Ok, so... for the breakdown of work Mwahahahaha!
Penny: Condition reports
Janice: Condition reports, photograph enhancement.
George: gather info on items to produce panels. (let me know if you aren’t feeling up to this and we can give you something more later in the game )
Jana: Create blog, write up Our project scope. (Overall theme and items we intend to use)
If we have this stuff done by the time Penny leaves we can then start on writing the text panels and creating up the formal assessment tasks. In the mean time once Jana has done up the blog everyone log on and being to add reflections etc (one a week?). I will write up the meeting minutes.
